We write about geeky things worth owning and link to the shops that sell them. Those links pay for the site. This page explains exactly how, because you should be able to judge our advice knowing where the money comes from.
Most outbound product links are affiliate links. If you buy something after clicking one, the retailer pays us a percentage of the sale. You pay the same price you would have paid going direct. Commission rates differ between retailers, and we do not rank products by what pays best — where two options are close, we say so and let the price decide.
Products are bought at retail or borrowed and returned. Prices shown are checked against the retailer's live listing and stamped with the date we last looked; they change without warning and we will sometimes be behind. If a price on this site is wrong, the retailer's page is the truth.
Tell us when we get something wrong and we will fix it and note the change at the foot of the article. Press, retailers and affiliate managers: use the same address, but understand that we do not accept payment for coverage or for a place in a ranking.
geekhead.shop takes part in affiliate programmes. Links to merchandise, tickets and games may earn us a commission at no extra cost to you. Prices and availability are set by the retailer and can change.
