Pokémon

Pokémon is a Japanese media franchise of video games, animated series and films, a trading card game, and other related media, set in a shared universe where humans co-exist with creatures endowed with special powers. It is estimated to be the world's highest-grossing media franchise, and while its primary target audience is children aged 5 to 12, it is known to attract people of all ages. As a player, you take the role of a Pokémon Trainer who travels the world, catches Pokémon in Poké Balls, and trains a team to battle with. Source
