Tabletop & D&D

Dungeons & Dragons is a fantasy tabletop role-playing game created by Gary Gygax and Dave Arneson and first published in 1974, and its publication is commonly recognized as the beginning of modern role-playing games and the role-playing game industry. Each player creates their own character rather than commanding a military formation, and together with a Dungeon Master who serves as referee and storyteller, a party embarks on adventures in a fantasy setting, solving problems, engaging in battles, exploring, and gathering treasure and knowledge.
