Trading cards

A collectible card game mixes strategic deck building with the features of trading cards, a genre introduced with Magic: The Gathering in 1993. Players typically begin with a pre-made starter deck, then customize it with cards from semi-random booster packs or trades, choosing what to add based on a particular strategy. Games are commonly played between two players, with turn-based play in which each starts with a shuffled deck and draws and plays cards to reach a win condition before their opponent. Source
